Probable Late Medieval copper alloy dagger, knife or sword chape, perhaps of 15th or 16th century The chape is of sheet, two-piece form, with a soldered join, now detached and is near-complete (with a length of 31.8mm and a weight of 7.0g). The chape form is asymmetric, with a swelling near the base on one side (giving a maximum width of 23.0mm and where the chape has a maximum depth of 19.1mm). Medieval copper alloy buckle plate of 14th or 15th century date The buckle is fragmentary, represented by the incomplete folded sheet metal plate only (with a surviving length of 29.0mm and a weight of 2.8g). The plate is corroded with some peripheral loss but was rectangular and had a slot for the pin. The corners were recessed to accommodate the missing frame. Middle Bronze Age bronze blade, possibly a dirk of Group II or III blade with a damaged butt The dirk is incomplete with some peripheral damage to the butt and upper part of the blade (with a length of 135.2mm and a weight of 32.6 g). The top edge of the butt is damaged and irregular, with a number of arcs, possibly related to rivet holes but none of which may now be identified with any certainty. The dirk is thinnest at the butt (with a thickness of 0.8mm) and is widest across the eroded shoulders (with a surviving width of 38.7mm). The original form of the hilt is now uncertain…
