The buckle frame is circular (with an external diameter of 38.5mm, an internal diameter of 31.4mm and a weight of 5.7g) but is heavily-corroded and with fragmentary pin. The frame is of oval section and is differentially worn and corroded (with a width of 1.6mm to 4.0mm wide and 1.0mm - 3.2mm thick).
