One of three fragments of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy leaf-shaped sword. The morphology indicates that the sword is of Ewart Park Type, a widespread type which belongs to the Ewart Park Metalworking Assemblage (c. 1000-800 BC) (Needham 1996; Needham et al. 1997). This is the third fragment, representing the lower blade- other fragments are recorded as NMGW-A49E88 and NMGW-A4A891. A fragmentary cast copper alloy object, probably a fitting, of uncertain date. The object is half of a curved or circular fitting and is sub-triangular in section with a surviving overall length of 43.9mm. The surviving terminal is rounded and decorated with a small circular moulding (max thickness 5.0mm) and a small integrally cast knop/spike projecting outwards from the side. A fragmentary cast copper alloy ring, possibly from a harness, of uncertain date. The ring is missing over half of the hoop in old damage with surviving measurements 25.5mm long x 7.2mm max diameter. The ring is roughly D-shaped/sub-triangular in section with a shallow central ridge along the outer surface and small angular wear facets visible at the breaks. There is no visible evidence for surface decoration. It is difficult to determine function with so little remaining, but it may be a fragment of a harness ring. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. The brooch is missing the lower portion of the bow, catch plate and pin with a surviving length 20.9mm. A fragment of the pin is hinged within  tubular wings (width 23.9mm, 3.1mm diameter) decorated with a transverse incised groove at the wing terminals. Iron corrosion suggests the axis bar is likely made of iron. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Trumpet variant brooch likely of Early Roman date (c.1st-2nd century AD). The brooch is missing the spring and pin and the leg has been lost to old damage in a transverse break (surviving length 30.1mm). An incomplete Post Medieval silver groat of Mary (1553-58). Dated to 1553-54. North 1960 The coin is very worn to the obverse. It has breaks to the edges and is possibly lightly clipped. Obverse: extremely worn, with the only remnant of the bust being a small section of beading from the dress. Inscription [ANG] F[R]A [Z] [HIB] [REGI] Reverse: Long cross fourchée over royal shield. Inscription VERITA[S] [TEMPORIS] FILIA. Due to damage the mint mark is not visible.
