The terret ring is oval in plan (internal diameter of 42.1mm x 31.2mm, external diameter 56.9mm x 52.6mm). The integral bar of the terret is 15.9mm long, 9.7mm wide and 7.9mm thick. Traces of a moulded expansion on the internal surface and on both faces preserve on either side of the bar, marking the beginning of the hoop, but surface damage has removed much of the detail.
