Description The reported object is the body of a silver annular brooch; the pin is missing. The brooch has been created by filing down the rim of, and removing the centre from, a silver coin of King Henry VI of England (1422-61); this has created a flat annular brooch with inner diameter of approximately 9mm, outer diameter approximately 22mm, with a thickness of the order of 0.6mm and weight of 2.27g. Description The reported object is a silver gilt devotional reliquary pendant (weight 17.613g.). It is of rounded arch niche form, with one hinged door. This has been made with the hinge on the right, and was opened by removing a pin which slides through retaining tubes on the left side of the pendant. Silver gilt decorative roundel which once adorned the front of a dress-hook loop, to the back of which are soldered three sections of wire (which when complete formed the trefoil loop for the hook). The slightly domed silver gilt boss has a border of 'cable-twist' filigree wire, wound in a spiral to create two strands. Within this, there are five cable-twist 'filigree' wire circlets, and a small granulated pellet in the interspace. Metal content: silver, 96%; copper, 4%.

The finger-ring is near-complete, missing only some of the inlay. The hoop has a comparatively small diameter and is of rectangular section, with straight sides, which gradually diverge from the base to the bezel. The base of the hoop is undecorated while the remainder is decorated with three panels. A silver brooch, fashioned from a groat (fourpenny piece) of King Edward I, 1272-1307. The coin brooch takes the form of a disc brooch, diameter 29mm. It is broken across the hole for the rivet that would have secured it to the end of a leather strap.
