An incomplete silver Iron Age unit dating to c. 50-35 BC. The unit is a Six-Spoked Pellet Ring type (Rudd p. 108) of an unknown ruler. This type of unit is associated with the Cornovii or Dobunnii "tribes" that inhabited Wiltshire. The object is damaged around the edges but the obverse and reverse is still legible. Obverse: Moon head right, large star on chin, pellet hairline, ring in place of lips, stars and pseudo-legend front.
