Description
The reported object is a small silver annular brooch (weight 1.49g.). The silver frame, which is of circular cross-section, is plain. The external frame diameter is 11.5mm; internal frame diameter 7.5mm. Both sides of the pin, which is of diamond cross-section, are engraved with a zig-zag line on each facet, with a transverse ridge at the junction of head and shaft. The head is simply wrapped around a cast restriction in the hoop, and its front is engraved with zig-zag decoration similar to the shaft. Overall pin length 12.55mm; hoop thickness 2-2.1mm

The reported object is a small silver annular brooch. The silver frame is of flattened rectangular cross-section. One face is decorated with an incised zig-zag pattern; the other face has a crudely incised, garbled inscription copying Lombardic letter forms. (I, A, N and D can be identified).
The pin shaft is missing.
External frame diameter 20.03mm; internal diameter 13.1mm; frame thickness 0.7mm. The brooch weight is 1.18g.

The reported object is a complete finger-shaped metal ingot with rounded ends of silvery-grey appearance. The underside and a slightly rounded profile, and two indents may assaying nicks. The upper surface is slightly convex, with a small area of pitting, consistent with the ingot having been cast in an open mould (stone, ceramic or earth). There is further evidence for nicking on the side of the ingot - an interventions sometimes undertaken in antiquity to test purity. Length 47.1mm; width 9.4-12.4mm; depth 6.3 - 9mm; weight: 20.01g.

Fragment of silver decorative mount, broken top and bottom. The outline has the superficial resemblance to spoon handle terminals, but the figurative decoration is the wrong way round, and the cast is hollow on the reverse and clearly intended to sit against a flat surface.
The mount has a tapering form, widest the base of the main motif. This has the form of a crowned reliquary bust of a female saint with long hair, facing forward. The find comprises six post-medieval English coins, of Elizabeth I and Charles I, with a face value at the time of £0 10s 6d; as received at Amgueddfa Cymru, they appear to have been cleaned. No associated objects were reported.
The find represents a small, but typical assemblage from the period of the 'English' Civil War, with the coins worn through circulation roughly in proportion to their age when lost or deposited. The three coins are all silver pennies in the name of King Edward (Edward I and II of England), described in terms of standard numismatic classification as follows: 1. class 10cf3, London mint, c.1307-9; 2. class 11a, London, c.1311-14; 3. class 11c, Canterbury, c.1311-14. The coins show some signs of wear; the third is the least worn.
