The reported object is a silver gilt devotional cruciform pendant with large suspension loop. The cross arms end in rounded knop. The flattened central area is engraved with Hebrew on both sides. One side reads : AGLA, an acronym for the Hebrew phrase Atha Gebri Leilan Adonai, meaning 'Thou art mighty for ever, O Lord'. The other side in engraved with a cross-potent, and the letters AWDN in the inter-arm spaces (probably alpha, omega (as on the Farndon pendant cross); what looks like an O is probably a reversed D, followed by 'N' for Dominus Noster. The reported object is a cast silver pendant in the form of a hanging trefoil leaf. It has a plain flat back, and an integral circular attachment loop. Traces of gilding are visible in the deeper recesses of the casting. Overall height 13mm; maximum width 8mm; maximum thickness 1.3mm; weight 0.7g. Description: Gilded silver heart-shaped pendant engraved with the symbols of Christ's wound. The front is made from a sheet raised in repoussé style into a dome, and vertically grooved at the top to make a heart shape. It is soldered to a back-plate cut from a sheet and indented by filing to give a scalloped or cusped edge; there are seven lobes down each edge, and one at top and bottom. The pendant is incomplete, missing two of the cruciform arms and the suspension loop (with a surviving length of 18.9mm and a weight of 1.7g). The arms and loop may have been damaged comparatively recently, as evidenced by 'fresh' breaks. At the centre of the pendant is a circular panel or roundel (with a diameter of 11.1mm and a thickness of 1.4mm) inscribed on both faces with two letters, within an incised border. Description The reported object is a silver gilt devotional reliquary pendant (weight 17.613g.). It is of rounded arch niche form, with one hinged door. This has been made with the hinge on the right, and was opened by removing a pin which slides through retaining tubes on the left side of the pendant.
