An incomplete silvered contemporary copy of a Roman silver denarius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-161), dating to the period AD 138-c.161 (Reece Period 7). Uncertain reverse type, depicting a female figure, possibly Fortuna, seated left. Copying mint of Rome protoype.
The obverse portrait shows a Julio-Claudian, possibly Augustus.
