A fragmentary cast copper alloy sword blade fragment, probably of Late Bronze Age date (c.1150-750 BC), possibly of Wilburton or Ewart Park metalworking industry of Needham’s (1991) Periods 4-5, dated 1150-750 BC. The fragment is rectangular in plan and lenticular in section with an overall surviving length of 59.4mm. The fragment has straight transverse breaks on each end and there is a slight bend in the length , suggesting deliberate breakage prior to deposition (‘ritually killed’). A fragment of a cast copper alloy Colchester Derivative Hinged Pin (CD H) brooch, dating to the early Roman period (c. AD 43-120). The brooch is missing the pin, part of the bow and the whole foot and catchplate, as well as the end of the left wing.
The wings of the bow consist of the robust cylinders 31.5mm in incomplete width and a maximum of 7.7mm thick. The wings are hollow, containing the corroded iron axis bar visible at the ends of the wings and in the slot for the pin cut into the centre of the reverse of the head. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester Derivative Polden Hill (CD PH) brooch of Roman date (c. 240-300 AD). The brooch is of Mackreth's (2011) Type CD PH 4.h. The brooch is incomplete, missing one wing, the spring, pin, and most of the catchplate.
The brooch has a bulbous, humped “dolphin” style head 15.2mm wide excluding the wings, 18.5mm high and 23.5mm deep. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester Derivative Hinged (CD H) type (c.AD 43-120). The brooch is missing the pin, catchplate and foot. The tubular wings (c.2mm diameter) span a width of 27.0mm. Much of the original surface has been lost, but a single raised transverse moulding survives on one wing. Any decoration at the wing terminals has been lost. A near-complete cast copper alloy terret of Late Iron Age date (c.100 BC – AD 100) probably winged and triple projection type (Lewis 2015). The terret ring is oval in plan (internal diameter of 42.1mm x 31.2mm, external diameter 56.9mm x 52.6mm). The integral bar of the terret is 15.9mm long, 9.7mm wide and 7.9mm thick. Traces of a moulded expansion on the internal surface and on both faces preserve on either side of the bar, marking the beginning of the hoop, but surface damage has removed much of the detail.

An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Colchester Derivative Polden Hill type, dating to the Roman period (c. 75-175 AD). The brooch is missing part of its bow and spring as well as the whole catchplate and foot.
The head of the brooch is formed by an 8.5mm wide flat-topped plate, joined at a right angle to the top of the bow.
