Roman copper alloy bow brooch of T-shaped type and dating to the 1st to 2nd century AD. The brooch employed a hinge mechanism with tubular wings enclosing a copper alloy axis bar. The wings have not been cast at a right angle to the bow, and also slope towards the rear of the head. The wings are decorated with vertical mouldings. The top of the head has a simple chain loop, which is now broken. The upper bow is of sub-triangular section, and was decorated with short irregular incised lines. Medieval cast annular buckle or open frame brooch of Medieval date, and probably dating from the late 13th to the mid 15th century. The frame is slightly oval and is relatively substantial for a brooch, but has both a restriction and notch for the pin on either side of the frame. The frame is of sub-triangular section, with a rounded outside edge and near-perpendicular (to the underside) inside edge. The frame has a discernible casting flaw on the inside edge and does not carry any decoration.

Medieval copper alloy buckle, probably of mid 14th to early 15th century date The buckle is of oval framed type with composite rigid plates and is near complete but has lost the two sheet plates and the end of one fork, the pin is also unlikely to be original. The buckle has an overall length of 41.31mm and a maximum width across the frame of 22.59mm. The frame is of quadrangular faceted section with a thickness of 2.87mm. The interior of the hoop is oval (with internal dimensions of 8mm wide by 6.5mm high). Post medieval lead powder cap of 17th century date The cap is near-complete but is distorted (with a distorted mouth diameter of 25.9mm, x 14.2mm, a base diameter of 16-19mm, a width, including lugs of 26.8mm, a height of 17.4mm and a weight of 14.0g). Both lugs are present (with a width of 6.8mm, a length of 6mm and a thickness of 2mm). The mouth has no external mounding but ribs are evident running along the face between the lugs. The surface is heavily corroded with a pale white-grey corrosion and mid-grey metal.
