A complete forged copper alloy spiral finger ring of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c. 200BC-AD 410). The ring is of Guiraud Type 7 (Guiraud 1989, 195-6). The ring is made from a forged bar of copper alloy 4.3- 4.8mm diameter wrapped around to form a ring, completing two full turns. The section of the bar is circular. The internal diameter of the ring is variable with a maximum of 22.1mm. An incomplete Post Medieval gold ring, dating from the mid-18th, to mid-19th century, c.1750 to 1850. The ring has a fluted bezel which is formed around the ring’s hoop. The bezel is crushed and the stone is no longer present. The bezel measures 3.39mm high, 6.11mm wide and 2.77mm deep. An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring likely of Victorian date (c.19th century). The finger ring comprises of a sub-oval signet (14.6mm long x 11.8mm wide x 1.5mm thick) and portions of the band (9mm long and 3.1mm wide at the break; and 5.9mm long and 4mm wide at the break). The signet appears to be engraved with monogram style letters on the face but cannot be determined due to old damage.
