A near-complete cast lead cloth seal of Elizabeth I (c. AD 1558-1603). The seal is made of two sub-circular discs (diameter 24.4mm, 4.6mm thick) joined at one end by a folded strip. One side bears the relief of the coat of arms for Elizabeth I with E R separated by a crown above and 6 beside. The other side is illegible and smashed into the reverse of the other disc. The object is a pale buff and weighs 11.45g.

A near-complete cast lead alloy ampulla of Medieval date (c.AD 1200-1400). The ampulla is closed at the mouth, which has a moulded rim (27.9mm wide). The sub-rectangular and slightly-flaring neck curves expands slightly again to the round body (32.8mm wide). The front is decorated with uneven and poorly executed incised lines mimicking a scallop shell. The other side was also likely decorated but the design has been damaged by surface corrosion. The expanded mouth is closed and sealed with a width of 26mm and 2.7mm thick at the seal (8.3mm thick before the seal) and appears to be complete. The obverse of the object has moulded letters I S (or S I) with a circular moulding between. Traces of a further moulded circumferential design preserve above and below the central legend, and may have been a further legend, but cannot be discerned due to surface corrosion. The obverse is a mottled medium patina, the reverse is mostly light grey/buff. The object weighs 40.03g.

A cast lead biconical spindle whorl of medieval date (c. 1200-1500 AD). The object is biconical in shape with a wide central perforation (10.6mm diameter). Both sides are decorated with a design of raised, radiating ribs with pellets between each rib. The number of pellets varies- one side has only single (or no) pellets between the ribs, while the other has one, two, or three pellets between each rib. The metal has white patina with patches of grey metallic lead showing through in places.

Post medieval lead cloth seal of late 16th century date The cloth seal is English and was probably of four-disc type but is now heavily-truncated (with an overall with of 14.8mm, a thickness of 2.8mm, a maximum diameter of 11.7mm and a weight of 2.6g). One face has a portcullis and the other face has the Arms of England (quartered with opposing three fleurs and three lions; pre 1603). The encircling legend does not survive but ity is possible to suggest: ] C E O R [ The top of the portcullis does not survive, with no surviving evidence for a crown.
