Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Polden Hill Type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date The brooch is incomplete, missing the pin and catch-plate and has a distorted bow (with a surviving length of 44.3mm, a surviving depth of 13.3mm and a weight of 6.9g). The spring remains in place, secured between perforated end lugs (with a width of 19.1mm and a diameter of 4.6mm – 5.6mm) and with the chord-tensioned by a lug at the head. Medieval copper alloy buckle of oval framed with roller type and of 13th or 14th century date The buckle frame is complete but any plates are missing (with a length of 19.6mm and a weight of 5.8g). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of uncertain type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the leg (with a surviving length of 30.5mm, a surviving depth of 20.8mm and a weight of 3.0g). The bow has broken below the top of the catch-plate and is ova section (3.8mm thick and 2.8mm wide). The sides are straight and convergent to the foot. Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flint Hollow-Based arrowhead The arrowhead incomplete, missing the tip (with a surviving length of 31.6mm and a weight of 3.0g). The arrowhead is made on a flake with the bifacial retouch confined to one side and the concave base (where the arrowhead has a width of 21.3mm). The arrowhead has a maximum thickness (of 4.9mm) midway along the retouched edge. The flint is non-cortical has differential patination. The missing tip may indicate that the arrowhead has impacted while being used.
