A cast copper alloy Roman finger ring of Henig Type IX, or Guiraud Type 9a (c.AD 200-410). The finger ring is solid cast and filed with eight flat undecorated facets on the outside edge, a smooth flat inner surface and straight sides. The band has an uneven width and thickness with a max width of 5.0mm, max band thickness 1.5mm, internal diameter 15.9mm, external diameter 19.6mm. The metal has a smooth, shiny dark green/silvery patina and weighs 1.51g. Similar objects are recorded on the PAS database e.g. LVPL-357C91, SUR-8581D3, SF-F9274B, SUSS-687D22

A complete cast copper alloy cosmetic mortar of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c.100 BC-AD 200). The crescentic mortar is of end-looped type with a total length of 76.2mm and a weight of 22.87g. The end-loop has straight sides and a rounded external edge (3.2-4.0mm thick) and is of turned-over form with an everted end, possibly representing a stylised bird’s head (Jackson 2010: 23). A fragment of a cast copper alloy figurine depicting the god Mercury, dating to the Roman period (c. 43- 410 AD). The fragment consists only of the head of the figurine, ending in a break across the neck. An incomplete Roman or Late Iron Age cosmetic mortar of cast copper alloy (100 BC-AD 410). The object is crescent shaped, with knobbed terminals at both ends and a broken attachment loop in the centre of the outside surface of the object. A shallow, sub-lenticular groove 34.5mm in length runs along the inner surface of the crescent. The object is somewhat corroded, with areas of active corrosion and an overall worn grey-green patina.
