Top fragment of a perforated whetstone. The stone has a bevelled end and straight sides. The perforation is oval and has an hour glass profile. Both faces are smooth and dished from use. One face has a facet running along one of the sides.

Lead pan weight of uncertain date The weight is complete (with a length of 18.5mm). Both faces are circular (with a diameter of 14-15mm). The sides are concave, producing a minimum diameter of 12.2mm). One of the faces has the suggestion of an incised design, possibly a star within a circular border. The weight weighs 25.0g, which is equivalent to 0.885oz. The weight is not diagnostic and is difficult to date the weight of 25.0g is broadly consistent with a 1oz weight of Medieval and post medieval systems.

Post medieval copper alloy cup weight from a nested set, probably of 16th to 18th century date The weight is complete (with a basal diameter of 20mm, a rim diameter of 29mm, a height of 16.6mm and a thickness of 2.5mm) and now weighs 28.02g, equivalent to an avoirdupois ounce (28.35g). The base has two stamped marks, now worn: one appears to be a letter ‘D’, the other is possibly a rampant lion. A cast copper alloy Postmedieval trade weight of 17th century date (AD 1625-1685). The weight is circular in plan with a diameter of 25.1mm and thickness of 4.4mm. The face of the weight has three stamps: 1. a crowned letter C for Charles I or II; 2. a sword for the Sword of St. Paul for the city of London Guildhall, and 3; a ewer for the London Founder’s Company (Worshipful Company of Founders). A cast lead weight of uncertain date, but likely Medieval to Post Medieval (c. AD 1400-1700). The weight is square and measures 32.5mm x 31.7mm and 11.7m max thickness. One face has been incised with a crude linear design in the shape of the letter W. Similar objects on the PAS database are recorded as apothecary weights, e.g. SUR-D85EA7 and SUSS-3FB2B7, which are also designed with the letter W. The weight weighs 87.44g, which is close to the ¼ lb Tower system (87.5g) or English troy system (93.3g).

A copper alloy fragment representing the back case of a pocket watch of probable late 17th-early 19th century date. The watch fragment is sub circular in plan, with a domed external surface made of a single piece of copper alloy c. 1.8mm thick. The centre of the case is destroyed, leaving a jagged edged uneven hole in the centre of the plate. At the top of the case the remains of the pendant are still fixed through the case, with an incomplete length of 7.1mm, and diameter of 4.6mm.
