Medieval copper alloy zoomorphic barrel lock of c. of 14th or 15th century date
The cast Type C lock is near-complete, missing part of the tail and loop on the beast’s back (with an overall surviving length of 89.0mm, a height of 65.4mm, a maximum width across the shoulders of 22.5mm and a weight of 133.1g). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of uncertain type, possibly of Trumpet or allied type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date
The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the leg and foot only (with a surviving length of 38.9mm, a surviving depth of 10.5mm and a weight of 8.3g). At the break, the leg is of oval section (7.0mm wide and 4.5mm thick) with straight sides converging towards the foot. The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the head and upper bow only (with a surviving length of 23.0mm, a surviving depth of 10.6mm and a weight of 5.4g). Silver gilt finger ring.
The reported object is a silver gilt finger ring, comprising a decorated bezel soldered to the plain narrow silver band of triangular cross-section. The engraved decoration takes the form of a quatrefoil; the hoop is plain. Traces of gilding survive.
The bezel measures 5.8 high x 6.2mm wide. The band width is 2.3mm; thickness 1.0mm; internal diameter 19.7 x 17.4mm; overall weight 1.32g.

The reported object is the pin from a small silver annular brooch of stirrup type. The four facets of the pin shaft, which is of diamond cross-section, are incised with zig-zag lines. The wrap-around head of the pin, which would have secured it to the annular frame of the brooch, is missing, but the stirrups that prevented cloth from snagging are partially preserved (surviving width 15.6mm).
