Medieval copper alloy buckle of sub-rectangular form and of mid-14th to mid-15th century date
The buckle frame and pin are present but it is unclear if there was a plate. The trapezoidal frame is comparatively small (with a length of 13.3mm, a width of 11.5mm and a weight of 1.1g). The outside edge is expanded (4.0mm wide and 2.7mm thick) and has three grooves, the larger groove at the centre is to accommodate the pin.
