It is undecorated with a mid-green patina and has a worn or corroded surface. The object is 31.2mm long, and is 7.9mm at its widest point near one end, tapering to 6.6mm at the narrowest point, near the other end. The maximum thickness is 3.8mm.

A fragmentary copper alloy and iron probable dagger of uncertain date, potentially Iron Age. The only parts of the dagger remaining are the basal 4.8cm of iron blade and short section of the tang fitted into a copper alloy guard. The blade is forged iron and is heavily corroded and missing much of its original, unknown length. A rectangular sectioned core of less corroded iron can be seen. Copper alloy pin of uncertain date, with possible zoomorphic terminal The cast pin is near-complete but is heavily-corroded (with an overall length of 43.5mm and a weight of 3.4g).
