Medieval copper alloy balance of folding beam type and probably of 13th to 15th century date. The balance is near-complete, missing the central suspension loop and both scale pans and is now corroded with both arms extended upwards (with an original length across the beam of approximately 250mm and a weight of 53.3g). Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. The sides are somewhat rounded and the barbs and tang are squared, suggesting the arrowhead to be a Sutton b type (Green 1980). The arrowhead has lost its tip in antiquity, possibly as a result of impact through use. The flint is brown, probably of beech pebble flint and is unpatinated.

Early Bronze Age flint arrowhead of Barbed and Tanged type (c. 2500 -1800BC) The arrowhead is near-complete (with a length of 28.6mm, a width across the barbs of 15.1mm, a maximum thickness of 3.4mm and a weight of 1.2g), missing the end of the tip and is made on a convex flake. The flint is non-cortical and has differential pale-grey patination. The dorsal surface has extensive pressure-flaking while the ventral surface has a retouched edge and is gently convex.

Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead The bifacially worked arrowhead is incomplete, missing one barb, which has broken in antiquity (with a length of 23.6mm, a surviving basal width of 20.9mm, a maximum thickness of 4.2mm and a weight of 1.4g). The flint has patinated white and is non-cortical. Found 320m to the north of the arrowhead at ST 4975 9063 were three pieces of debitage, two bladelets and a spall, all unpatinated and non-cortical. One of the bladelets is a proximal fragment with utilisation scars along one side edge

A biconical bead made of sheet gold with a central perforation for suspension. The bead is damaged and misshapen, with a snag and a tear evident (maximum diameter 13.5mm, maximum height/width 8.0mm, thickness of sheet <0.1mm, weight 0.84g). The gold wire is sub-rectangular in cross-section, with curving meanders, suggesting it was once coiled. One terminal has a globular shaped head; the other has a flattened and folded back hook terminal (maximum current length 40.7mm, diameter of wire 0.7-1.0mm, weight 1.13g).
