Part of a copper alloy purse frame with a cast copper alloy rotating suspension loop fixed to the horizontal bar by a rove. Both arms of the short, sub-rectangular sectioned horizontal bar are broken close to the rectangular-shaped central boss. The elongated suspension loop is plano-convex in section with the flat side facing inwards. One side of the central boss is decorated with two diagonal moulded lines arranged to form a "V" shape (cf.
