A possible modified silver coin, of likely Post Medieval date, c. 1500 to 1800. The diameter of the object is similar to that of a three pence coin and suggests that it has possibly been modified for reuse as a token. The object has a smooth surface with punched motifs, including of a bunch of grapes. Obverse: Punched grape motif, letter Y, plus possible A or upside-down Y. Reverse: Punched grape motif, a partial letter A of a different style of lettering to the obverse.

The reported object is an annular brooch. The silver frame is of circular cross-section, and slightly distorted. One face is decorated with four groups of diagonally-set incised lines inlaid; the other face has transverse lines around 50% of the frame, and pairs of parallel lines set herringbone pattern fashion for the other half.
