A small silver annular brooch. The circular frame is circular in cross-section, and one side (the front) is decorated with two clusters of transverse grooves filled with niello. The wrap-around head of the pin secure it to the annular frame of the brooch, is lightly wider (2mm) than the shaft (width 1mm). External frame diameter 12 x 13mm; frame thickness 1mm; pin length 12mm; weight 0.55g. A number of annular brooches with similar pins are known from Wales. The reported object is a small spherical bell made of silver sheet, in two hemispheres joined at the waist. It is complete, retaining a small figure-of-eight/S-shaped wire suspension link on its loop. It is plain without maker's mark or decoration apart from a single band of twisted wire cable ornament around then girth, masking the join seam of the two bell halves. Maximum diameter 15mm.
