A medieval silver short-cross penny of John (1299-1216) or Henry (1216-1272), Class 6b2-6d, moneyer Henri, struck at Canterbury in 1213-1218 (North 975/2-977). The coin is heavily encrusted with a thick layer of silver chloride, which obscures many of the details.

Post medieval silver finger-ring of mid to late 18th century date
The sub-circular finger-ring is complete (with an external diameter of 20.7mm – 21.9mm, an internal diameter of 17.9mm – 18.6mm, a thickness of 1.3mm, a width of 7.5mm and a weight of 5.8g). The hoop has a raised border on both sides flanking a recessed band decorated with triangles composed of pellets in cast relief. The triangles are arranged in alternating orientation with an undecorated area between. There is a neatly soldered join on the band. The surface has a tarnished, silvery-brown patina.

Silver gilt dress-hook with a rectangular-shaped back-plate cut from a sheet and the suggestion of cusping around the now broken edge. It has a small rectangular perforation for attachment to clothing, and the stub of a separate hook and bar loop (now missing) is soldered to the back. The object is a silver spoon, now in two parts, comprising a bent handle junction with bowl, and the remaining bowl, folded twice.
The stem is hexagonal at the base, becoming circular in cross-section mid-way along the shaft up to the simple devolved conical ‘diamond knop’ terminal with a small transverse moulding at the junction with the stem. The reported object is a silver gilt iconographic ring (weight 7.18g). It has a ridged bezel, each facet engraved with three words, each on a separate facet of the rectangular bezel:

central device in the form of a merchant's mark (comprising an encircled cross above interlaced cross stems, between small quatrefoils), within a single rope/indented border. One shoulder is engraved with a tau cross, and a slight depression below may be the remains of a motif. The hoop is slightly distorted, and the shoulder with the tau cross has severe surface scratching.
