Cast lead pilgrim’s ampulla of Medieval date, probably dating to the fourteenth or fifteenth century. The ampulla is 40.3mm tall, it has a maximum width across the handles of 34.5mm, has a maximum thickness of 7.5mm and weighs 35.4g. The top of the neck is flat and has been closed at the centre. The neck is straight and diverges slightly to the rim. Both loops are present and spring from the junction of the circular body (diameter – 29mm). Medieval copper alloy harness pendant probably dating from the late 13th to 14th century. The pendant is shield-shaped and in profile, is slightly convex across the width. The suspension loop is present and, as is usual for the type, is at right angles to the axis of the pendant. The surface of the pendant has been lost, but a series of eight raised horizontal mouldings survive. The mouldings may have been gilt, while the areas between, may have held enamel.
