Roman copper alloy terret, probably of 1st or 2nd century AD date The terret is fragmentary and is from the covered-loop type. Both loops are missing and the terret is represented by a portion of the saddle-shaped 'skirt' and the pedestal beneath the upper loop. The skirt has a maximum surviving length of 32.90mm and is rising at both ends towards the terminals. The skirt has a maximum surviving width of 22.42mm and is decorated with oblique incised lines from the sides.
