Roman copper alloy bow brooch, probably of Polden Hill / T-shaped type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the incomplete head only (with a surviving length of 12.5mm, a surviving depth of 8.7mm and a weight of 2.4g). The missing spring was probably secured between lateral, perforated lugs, although the truncated wings now survive as a single stub (with a surviving width of 16.0mm). Possible Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy looped toggle of 1st century BC to 1st century AD date The cast toggle is of biconical form and is incomplete, missing the loop (with a length of 25.4mm and a weight of 18.7g). The cast brooch frame is near-complete but the pin is missing and the frame is comparatively insubstantial (with an overall length of 57.6mm, an overall width of 62.2mm and a weight of 10.6g). Medieval silver spoon, now in two parts, comprising a bent handle junction with bowl, and the remaining bowl, folded twice. The stem is hexagonal at the base, becoming circular in cross-section mid-way along the shaft up to the simple devolved 'diamond-point' terminal. One hundred and five Roman coins of the third century A.D., with a date range c. 255-286. The coins have not been cleaned: for the most part they are corroded and cannot be catalogued in full detail. The coins are all of the type known today as 'radiates' (from the form of headgear of the imperial portraits). A summary list by reign can be seen below. Decorative silver-gilt posy-ring. The hoop fragment is of flattened D cross-section. The outer surface is cast with a repeating pattern of cells and raised single dots or pellets. Raised dots also fill the field between the cells and the plain borders. The areas between the raised decoration are inlaid with white and green enamel, most of which is now missing. Late medieval gilded silver finger-ring with external inscription on a plain central band, separated by a deep grooves from a 'beaded' border made up of parallel grooves. The bezel takes the form of a solid casting, raised and narrower than the band width of the ring.
