Post medieval copper alloy belt or strap mount of 16th or 17th century date The mount is complete and of figurative form with a trefoil terminal (with a length of 19.2mm and a weight of 1.8g). The mount is widest at the trefoil terminal (with a width of 11.9mm) and has concave sides below, before narrowing at the base. The mount was attached using two integral, oval-sectioned rivets, closed around a strap (with a height of 6.1mm and giving an overall depth of 8.1mm). The surface has a black patina.
