A near-complete cast lead weight of probable Medieval date (c.AD 1350-1500). The weight is triangular in plan and rectangular in section (68.9mm long x 53.8mm wide at the base x 18.2mm thick) with a rectangular perforation/slot that is bigger on one side, probably the reverse (7.6mm long x 3.4mm tall) and is a narrow slit on the other, probably the face. The face is decorated with a moulded border stepped down from the flat surface of the face and defined by a deep groove along the inside edge. The brooch is fragmentary, missing the head and upper bow (with a surviving length of 33.5mm, a surviving depth of 16.4mm and a weight of 3.2g). An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch, potentially of a hybrid form incorporating elements of both Trumpet Derivative and Colchester Derivative Hinged brooches dating to the Roman period (c. 43- 175 AD). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Wroxeter sub-type, of 2nd century AD date
The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the head and upper bow only (with a surviving length of 19.1mm and a weight of 3.2g). The head is D-shaped (with a width of 13.7mm and a height of 16.5mm) at its base, with a thinner sub-triangular head-plate above. The head-plate is not perforated and has no surviving evidence of a chain loop. A knurled rib separates the head from the head-plate. An incomplete wrought iron barbed arrowhead of Medieval date (c.AD 1200-1300). The arrowhead is comprised of the point, a portion of a barb and the socket with a total overall length of 74.3mm. The gun is incomplete missing the butt, trigger guard and is truncated through corrosion (with a surviving length of 54.3mm and a weight of 8.9g). Description
The reported object is a small annular brooch. The silver frame is of circular cross-section. One hoop face is decorated with continuous transverse incised lines inlaid with black niello, the other with six groups of transverse incised lines inlaid with black niello. The two sides of the wrap-around head meet at the top, and the pin rotates around the frame. The four pin shaft facets are engraved with irregular zig-zag lines (less well executed on reverse, almost as straight lines), as is the short stirrup and the head.

The handle is thickest at the end with a max diameter of 19.1mm. The end of the handle is smooth and flat with no evidence of percussion marks. A cast copper alloy vessel fragment of Medieval or Post Medieval date. The fragment comprises the foot of a potleg, likely for a cooking vessel (74.5mm long, 27.9mm wide at the bottom of the foot, 33.7mm wide at the break, 15.1mm max depth). The potleg is sub-trapezoidal in section, reaching its widest point at the break and tapers gradually to the foot. Much of one surface is covered in iron corrosion product suggesting iron was present in the deposition environment. The metal is a mottled green patina and weighs 152.28g.

The fragment is comprises the foot of a pot leg, likely from a cooking vessel (35.1mm long, 55.8mm wide at the bottom of foot, 41.4mm wide at the break, max depth 25.1mm). The foot is sub-trapezoidal in section with traces of a raised central ridge just before the break.
