Copper alloy blade of uncertain date The object is a tanged bladed implement (with an overall length of 71.0mm and a weight of 5.5g). The blade is leaf-shaped (with a length of 36mm and maximum width of 16.5mm) with a central rib producing a flattened lozenge section (2.7m thick). The tang is of sub-rectangular section and both narrows and thickens towards the terminal (with a width of 1.6mm - 3mm and a thickness of 2.7mm - 3.1mm). NMGWPA 2002.92.1 (EF2272) – Flint pebble with central void. A cortical flint pebble of interesting form. The central hole, while appearing man made has a natural cortical skin, suggesting it is a geological phenomenon. The ‘point’ of the object exhibits a number of impact fractures, but there is no evidence of systematic working, ruling out the object as a Prehistoric tool (awl or knife).
