A complete wrought iron horseshoe of late Medieval to early Post Medieval date (c. AD 1270-1600). The horseshoe has a broad web of 30.3mm tapering towards the 8.9-7.8mm pointed heels, which both have double folded calkins. The 56.5mm wide internal aperture has a pointed oval shape. The horseshoe has three rectangular countersunk nail holes either side of the toe. The toe itself has a thickened transverse ridge on the ground surface. An incomplete wrought iron barbed arrowhead of Medieval date (c.AD 1200-1300). The arrowhead is comprised of the point, a portion of a barb and the socket with a total overall length of 74.3mm. Iron arrowhead, probably of Medieval date. The arrowhead is socketed, and narrows as it approaches the blade. The blade would have had upward sloping shoulders, as evidenced by the more intact side. This arrowhead corresponds to the ‘multi-purpose forms’ used for both hunting and warfare identified by Jessop (1996).

Relatively slight, complete but damaged forged iron woodman's axehead. The axehead has a crescentic cutting edge, possibly worn at the top of the blade edge. The axe blade diverges to the cutting edge. The shaft-hole would have been tear shaped, but is now torn and distorted on one side. The rear of the axehead has a flat rectangular platform, which would have been used as a hammer.

Fragment of a large iron vessel (cauldron?) consisting of a separately forged leg, plano-convex in section and with a decorative outer longitudinal ridge, and part of the vessel's base. Dimensions of surviving portion of the vessel's base 96mm x 72mm, vessel thickness 6mm, length of leg 45mm, weight 276.4 grams. Although cast iron vessels of this form were used until the early twentieth century the longitudinal ridge on the leg is similar to those decorating late medieval and post-medieval copper alloy vessel legs suggesting it may be of earlier date.
