The ring is a circular hoop 32.2mm in diameter with a near-circular section measuring 5.4mm thick and 4.4mm wide. The internal diameter of the ring is 23-23.4mm. The ring is decorated on its circumference by continuous 2.4mm wide band of incised rectangular beading. The object is near-complete and comprises of a single plate (max 1.2mm thick) bent into a U-shape with integrally cast rounded plates (0.6mm thick) to accommodate a rivet, which remains in situ (surviving overall dimensions 10.0mm x 9.1mm x 12.4mm deep). The terret ring is oval in plan (internal diameter of 42.1mm x 31.2mm, external diameter 56.9mm x 52.6mm). The integral bar of the terret is 15.9mm long, 9.7mm wide and 7.9mm thick.
