An incomplete, solid copper alloy (tombac) button dating from the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800). The button is circular with a plano-convex head. The face is shallowly domed with a pimple at the apex. The underside is flat with two stubs for the copper alloy wire attachment loop which is now missing. The object has a smooth, dark grey patina. Dimensions: Diameter 14.1mm; thickness 5mm; weight 3.47g Similar buttons are illustrated in Bailey (2004) see p.43, number 9.15 and p.35.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of likely medieval to post-medieval date c.AD500-1700). The has a central moulded bar consisting of two cylindrical shapes separated by a groove. The face of the object has an X inscribed on each of these cylinders whereas the reverse is undecorated. There is a horn like projection from each side that curves upwards and terminates at a break.    The object has similarities to Class M double sharp-hooked claps which hate to the early medieval period. A mostly complete copper alloy buckle dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1660-1720). The buckle is trapezoidal in form with concave sides and rounded ends; the spindle is attached separately. Both ends present two moulded traverse grooves and a moulded be-fold crescent at each end of the spindle. The chape and pin are missing from the spindle. The reverse is undecorated and is slightly concave. The buckle has a smooth dark green patina.
