An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle of medieval date (c.AD 1250-1400). The oval loop buckle has ornate outer edges, with a crudely rounded knop on each side and three transverse ridges along the pin rest. The bar is mall and offset. The pin is missing. The object has a dark green patina. Dimensions: Length 15.3mm, Width 14.9mm, Thickness 2.3mm, Weight 1.40g. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead’s Buckles (2003) pp. 21-22.

An incomplete and worn post medieval silver groat or halfgroat of Mary I (1553-1558). C.f. North (1991) Vol II, p. 126, no. 1960-1961. Obverse is completely worn but possibly would have had a crowned bust left. Small annular mark visible on the obverse. Reverse is also completely worn, possibly had the legend VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA and a long cross fourchée over a royal shield. Partial remains of a line of the cross visible and the 'T' in the legend.

The mount consists of a strip of copper alloy that is looped in half with a circular terminal at both ends. The back terminal is solid with an incomplete integral rivet.
