An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill (dolphin) Roman brooch dating to c.AD 120-240. See Mackreth (2011) CD PH 4.i Plate 47. The wings are sub-cylindrical, with flared caps. The head of the bow is rectangular, and the bow tapers down to a narrow point at the bottom. The top of the face of the bow is decorated with a series of small circular blue enamelling. The reverse of the brooch is undecorated and both the pin and catchplate are missing. The object has a green patina. Dimensions: Length 46.2mm, Width 23.3mm, Thickness 12.1mm, Weight 12.99g.

A complete copper alloy cross staff head terminal dating from the early medieval to medieval period (c.AD 1000-1200). The terminal is broadly lozenge in shape with a pointed top and an open socket to the bottom. It is formed of intricate open work, interlocking triangles that have a rounded knop at each corner. An incomplete cast copper-alloy sub-rectangular shoe buckle of post-medieval date (c.AD 1690-1720). The buckle is a double looped with both the pin and bar missing. Both the top and bottom edge are slightly concave. Both sides have a small circular drilled hole where the remainder of the bar is set in place, and is lobed. Both outside edges are trefoil in form and decorated with a single groove running from top to bottom, the reverse is undecorated. The buckle has a dark green patina with flecks of brown. An incomplete copper alloy Roman spoon dating to c.AD 43-410. The fragment comprises part of the step and the "drop", with a tiny amount of the bowl still adhered to this lower stem. The stem itself is square in cross section, it is thin at the end and bent slightly, and thickens steadily towards the drop, at which point it becomes flattened, curving downwards and backwards to create an arc.
