Cast copper alloy miniature object in the form of dagger or sword and possibly dating to the Roman period (c.AD 43-410) but may date in the medieval period. Th object has a flattened tapering blade that is worn and abraded at the edges giving an asymmetric shape. Towards the top of the blade is an off-centre circular perforation with a diameter of 3.1mm. An opaque light blue globular glass bead of unknown date, Iron Age to modern, 400 BC - AD 1900. The object is 9mm in diameter, has a length of 6.8mm and weighs 0.7g. The central perforation has a diameter of 3.5mm. Glass beads are problematic to date.
