An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy and iron curved oval shoe buckle, dating from AD 1720-1800. The frame is cast from a lead alloy and has an incomplete iron spiked loop chape. The frame has a beaded edge on both the inner and outer edge and is decorated with 6 parallel incised lines running its length. An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy Cloth Seal dating from the 17th century. This is a cloth worker's personal seal. The seal is formed of two discs with a connecting strip and integral rivet on one of the discs connecting the two. The obverse of the seal has the date 1571 with 15 to the left and 71 to the right of an ornate shield with a larger lower crown and an upper right smaller crown.
