An incomplete Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrow head dating to the period c. 2700 - 1000 BC. The arrowhead is sub triangular in shape, one of the barbs has broken away but both notches are visible. The tang may have been foreshortened by damage. There appears to be low level scaled retouch on both faces. The flint is a light grey colour. Dimensions: length: 19.74mm; width: 16.81mm; thickness: 3.07mm; weight: 0.93g

An incomplete Post Medieval gunflint from a flint lock rifle, dating AD 1700-1850. The flint has been worked to form a trapezoidal shape in plan with 3 faces where blades have been removed on the top. One side is rough and irregularly cut, tapering to a narrower evenly worked side which is now damaged missing part of the edge. An incomplete leaf-shaped arrow head dating to the Early to Middle Neolithic 4000 BC - 2700 BC. The arrowhead is leaf shaped in plan tapering to a point. All edges have low angle retouch. The flint is light grey with dark grey inclusions throughout. The tip is broken and missing. This form fits Butler's (2005: 123) type 1C which suggests and Early to Middle Neolithic date (ibid: 125). An early Mesolithic flaked flint biface adze "Thames pick" (10,000-7,000BC). The adze has been 'roughed out' from a flint nodule or pebble. It is roughly oval in cross section. Viewed edge-on along its longitudinal axis the adze tapers slightly from the broadly rounded butt towards the more pointed cutting edge. A Lower Palaeolithic small, bifacial worked, flint handaxe of cordate type dating c. 400,000-150,000BC. The handaxe was found on in a quarry. There is invasive soft hammer flaking covering both faces. The butt and mid portion of the axe is thick and it then tapers to a rounded point. The cross section is lentoid (pointed oval).
