A fragment from a cast copper-alloy early Anglo-Saxon girdle hanger dating to c.AD 470-560 Only the shank/neck has survived. It is plano-convex with a thickened side terminating with a broken loop. The thickened end (4.6 mm thick) is decorated with cast transverse ribs: two raised bands, followed by a space, then a further two bands. A medial ridge runs the entire length of the extant piece. Below the thickened section the shaft widens gently and is flatter and is D-shaped in cross-section (2.2 mm thick near the break).The shaft terminates with an old break. The reverse is undecorated…

A complete cast copper-alloy medieval brooch dating from the 14th century (c.AD 1300-1400).  The brooch is hexagonal with concave sides that flare out to six angular points, and is plano-convex in cross-section. It is decorated with three short grooves on each side, giving the appearance of  rectangular blocks. A complete cast copper-alloy medieval buckle dating to 13th-14th century AD. Cassels buckle type 1.3J. Meols Type 10. The buckle is oval and convex with two rounded outward-angled projections on the outside edge. Between the two knops the outside edge has moulded decoration of four raised circumferential bands spaced equally. The frame has an offset bar and at both ends of the bar is a globular projection. The object is trefoil in form, cast in one-piece with moulded relief and openwork. The trefoil dress hook is rendered with an undecorated Hungerford knot, each running end of the cord terminates with a pellet.
