A copper-alloy jetton of late medieval date., circa AD 1350-1415. This jetton bears the 'Chatel Tournois', a stylised image of the Castle of Tours on the obverse. The legend on the obverse is AVE[MARIA] GRASIA PL[ENA]. The reverse has a four arched tressure with cross fleuretty. At each point of the tressure is an inward pointing lis. The jetton has a dark green patina and is worn, particularly on the reverse.There is a notch at 10 o'clock and some edge missing at 5 o'clock of the obverse.
