A Medieval copper alloy book-clasp, dating to c.AD 1200 - 1400. Howsam type A.8.4 The clasp is formed of a single sheet of copper-alloy, folded in half at the terminal and secured at the attachment end with a single rivet. There is a further single flat headed rivet in the loop. There is a circular lobe adjacent to the terminal, it is hollow domed. Now missing from the lobe is an attachment loop.  Length: 30.5 mm Width:  9.8 mm Thickness: 3.9 mm Weight: 4.3 g

An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy book fitting, dating to AD 1400 - 1600. It is a book clasp of Howsam Type A3.  The clasp has a flat hook at one end projecting from a transverse rectangular plate. The body is lozenge shaped and there is a sub-rectangular plate at the other end.  This plate has a single rivet hole in the centre with the iron rivet still in place, with iron corrosion surrounding it. A Medieval copper-alloy annular brooch, dating to c.AD 1270 - 1350. The frame is circular in plan and D-shaped in section. The frame is narrowed slightly in one area to house the pin. The front of the frame is decorated with moulded line decoration creating a beaded effect. The pin has a moulded collar, the remainder of it is undecorated. An incomplete middle Bronze Age copper-alloy dirk, dating to c. 1700 - 1400 BC. Arreton or Acton Park phase. The dirk is almost complete, it is broken at each of the rivet holes. The hilt of the blade was originally trapezoidal in plan, some of the hilt is missing, it's mostly flat in cross section. A Medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic buckle, dating to c.AD 1100 - 1300.  The copper alloy frame is oval. The remainder of the frame expands is irregular in  width as well as depth, it has with moulded decoration. This decoration consists of an oval frame, which is perforated with four holes, one of these retains a pin which is bent around the bar.
