An early medieval copper alloy zoomorphic strap end of Anglo Scandinavian 'Urnes' style dating to c.AD 850-1100, most likely Thomas' Class G. The object is sub-rectangular in plan. One end is wedge-shaped with a split end, the other is a trapezoidal terminal containing a trapezoidal aperture. The object has a larger trapezoidal aperture towards the centre of the object. A Medieval copper-alloy strap end, dating to AD 1300-1450. It consists of two of the sub-rectangular plates, held together by two rivets. Both the plates are sub-rectangular with the lower narrow end (the strap end) narrowing into a shallow rounded point, from the apex of which projects a rounded knop. The opposing end is a straight edge. Below this in each of the corners are two rivet holes securing cylindrical rivets. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap end, dating to c.AD 1350 - 1400. The crescentic forked spacer remains. The crescentic bars are complete and rectangular in section, tapering towards the end. At the centre of the crescent is a projecting acorn shaped knop with a rectangular collar. An incomplete Medieval copper alloy strap end dating to AD 1270 - 1350. In plan the strap end is rectangular with rounded shoulders at the outer end, the object terminates in an old diagonal break. At its complete, narrowed end, the strap end terminates in a trefoil knop. A late Roman copper-alloy nail cleaner strap end, dating to c.AD 300 - 400. It consists of a cylindral phallus and flattened leaf shaped blade, a suspension loop is in the centre. The phallic end consists of an elongated cylindrical shaft that terminates in a flattened oval tip. In the centre of the nail cleaner is a flattened semi-circular knop, a testicle sits either side of the loop.
