Elongated metal fragment, rectangular shape, but tapering towards one end. Raised, roughly square boss approximately in the middle of the fragment, the surface deeply grooved on either side.
Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the metal fragment identified the metal as brass, with no detectable precious metal. It is therefore not defined as an item of Treasure under the terms of the Act.

A lead object, probably a weight. It has two circular faces one of which is flat and has two incised lines and an indented dot in the center, the second face is slightly concave. The first face (diameter 15mm) tapers out to the larger face (diameter 22mm)and the circumference is rough with raised vertical lines running from one face to the other.

Knapped sandstone disc, of unknown use and unknown date. Unlike many of the other stone discs in the locale, a great deal of care has gone into the creation of this object and it differs from them in that respect. It is a more accurate circle and has been knapped in a very precise fashion that produces a consistently angled chamfer around its edge. It is also a lot thinner than the other discs.
A number of uses have been posited for these objects. One is pot lids, but they show few signs of burning or sooting or any effects of heat, and pot sherds would make better lids. However th…
