The diameter is 18mm, and the weight 0.80g. Obverse inscription EDWARDVS.REX[ ] Reverse inscription +[ ]/[ ]AS/[ ]/[ ]AI/ The coin has been bent so that it is a flattened 'S' in profile. The bends appear intentional as they are more or less parallel. Based on the level of wear, this was probably done in the Medieval period for use as a token or tally of some sort.
