Medieval lead cicular shaped, non-heraldic personal seal matrix. The design of the seal consists of a legend around the outer edge of the matrix , separate from the central cross pattee design. The matrix is heavily corroded to one side and is broken into quarters, although this does not look deliberate. This is evidence for a supension loop on the back of the matrix, although little surives. A complete late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axe with a large single loop on one side. It has some wear and damage on the cutting edge, but otherwise the surface condition is good. The socket is square although irregular, and also contains a bronze gouge wedged inside it. The loop has a lozenge-shaped section and extends directly below the single mouth moulding. The sides curve gently to a slightly expanded blade, which has a curved cutting edge. Casting seams are present on both sides of the axe. There are hammer marks close to the cutting edge. Copper-alloy roman hair pin. The hair pin has a Globular head which is circular in section, benenth the head are two rounded molded collars. The shaft is intiallly rectangular section this is followed by three further flattened collars which leds to a rounded flattened sphere with a rounded hole in the centre of the sphere (this hole would have probably have had a wire through which was attached to the decorative pendant). Iron split pin (double spiked loop), dating to the roman. Double spiked loop is made from single piece of iron folded over on itself to create a looped head, usually there are with two L-shaped shanks (blades), which taper to a point, although one is missing (Crummy 1983: 120, Fig. 126). There is evidence of burning on the shank of the pin with charcoal still remaining, possibly part of a cremation. Cast copper-alloy single edged razor dating from the Early Iron Age, that is c. 800-600BC. The razor is roughly semi-circular in shape with openwork decoration in the centre and a handle at the top. The handle shows a moulded decoration of two ribs and a groove and the openwork decoration underneath is composed of two untidy rectangles. There are two small loops at the top, one on either side of the handle. Copper-alloy, Roman headstud brooch, possibly 3rd century, although heavily corroded. The headstud is pirform shape and integrally cast, and the wings and neckband would have supported a head loop which is recently broken. The brooch would have had a hing pin at the back which has been lost. It has a well arched flat faced bow of heavy construction which tapers towards the catch plate which is missing. Cast copper alloy ewer or laver spout in the form of a dog's head, good condition. A short open barrel protrudes from the dog's open mouth.
