On the obverse, part of the monarch's head and part of the legend is visible. It reads: [H]ENRIC[VS REX]. Incomplete medieval silver coin of John (1199-1216). The coin is extremely worn with much of the inscriptions on both obverse and reverse as well as the crown near impossible to see, and with a section missing as well, identification is challenging. The coin is suspected to be Wren Class 5a (most likely 5a1), which dates it 1204-1209. From what is left of the reverse inscription, it most likely that the coin was struck by Nicole at the mint of Canterbury. The coin has a diameter of 18.24mm and weighs 1.17g.

Silver cut half penny of either King John or Henry III. It is likely that this cut half is of Class which spans the reigns of John and Henry. The other deciding factors are missing due to the nature of the coin. It is likely that the coin was minted between 1209 and 1217. The mint is London; the moneyer cannot be made out due to the nature of the coin.

Silver penny of either King John or Henry III minted in London by the moneyer Abel between 1204 - 1222. The coin fits best into Class Vc 1204-1209 which is within the reign of King John. The obverse of the coin has been over-struck by a copy of the reverse; the most likely cause for this is that it is a result of a blunder in the mint and that this coin has stuck to the upper face of the die and then been re-struck against another blank die causing a mirrored version to be created and the impression of the coin having two reverse faces.
