A heavily worn polished and clipped milled silver coin - most probably a sixpence of William III (1694-1702). The edges of the coin have been folded in three places and due to this folding and the polished nature of the coin it is suggested that this may represent a love token.

A complete Post-Medieval silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694 - 1702) dating to the AD 1696. MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX reverse type depicting large crowned cruciform shields with Arms of England, Scotland, France and Ireland, central device depicts a Lion rampant. Mint: Unknown.

A heavily worn William III sixpence - both the front and rear faces of the coin have been reavily filed / scratched and the surface of the reverse is rough because of this. It does not seem as if the coin has been reused but such wear is highly unusual.

A Post Medieval silver sixpence coin of William III (AD 1694-1702) third bust, large crowns dating to 1697. Mint of Exeter. Seaby (1990) no 3539. The coin has been bent into an s-shape to use as a love token. The coin is also very worn.

A silver post medieval milled coin - most probably a silver sixpence of William III. The coin has been heavily burnt and slightly distorted resulting in the loss of almost all detail. The external edge of the flan is milled where it is best preserved, as are small elements of the inscription. The coin measures: 18.6mm diameter, is 1.2mm thick and weighs 2.1 grams.
