A silver Armorican stater of the Coriosolitae (Type II) dated to around 56 BC Reference: ABC 70 Images of the coin were sent to Dr Philip de Jeresey who writes: This is an Armorican type stater and it is in fact precisely the same type as the coin illustrated as ABC 70. It's a stater of the Coriosolitae, the final type in the series (rather confusingly known as class II), generally dated to c.56 BC. Silver Iron Age unit dated to the late Iron Age 50BC-50 AD. The Silver unit is an Uninscribed East Anglian - Iceni - Boar / Horse Type. A direct sub-type has not been found as the reverse horse is heavily debased - images have been sent to the CCI and curators at the BM to help confirm this intial identification.
