Silver Denarius of Sabina, wife of Hadrian, 134 138 AD. The obverse depicts a likeness of Sabina showing a draped bust facing right with diademed crown, the hair is waved, rising into a crest on top above the diadem, it is knotted in a queue (at the base of the head) which falls down the neck. The obverse inscription reads: SABINA AVGVSTA. The reverse depicts a figure (Juno) facing left holding patera and sceptre. This type does not depict a peacock at her feet. The inscription reads: IVNONI REGINAE.
