An incomplete and fragmnetary silver denarius of unknown republican issue. The coin is broken and the break is corroding forming a sibly large fragmnet and three smaller ones which conjoin. The coin is heavily worn and incomplete and further identification cannot be achieved. It is similar to many examples discovered on sites of 1st and 2nd century activity.
